Walk in Love.

Happy Passion Day. Today is the day the Lord rose from the human experience of flesh and blood, to return to His highest energy as Great Creator, Father/Mother. He walked in Love here on the Earth. Those that didn't understand and thought that such Love threatened their concept of obedience according to man-made rules and mis-interpretations about the Power of heaven, here on Earth knew not what they do and decided to expedite the expiration of Jesus Christ.

Today I attended a brand new church which I loved. The stations of the Cross were all of Native American Spiritual figures. There is a Labyrinth on the 13 acre property, and the celebrant is a very loving kind Priest who is happily married with children. In my humble opinion, this makes me glad. St. Mark's Episcopal Church offered the perfect blend of heaven and earth in LOVE.

My friends, this Happy Passion Day remember that you are created to be the image that dwells in us. The image of our Lord and Saviour who WALKED IN LOVE. He is Pure Love, Pure Truth, and is Gentle and Fun. Remember this: Jesus LOVED to SMILE. His image was full of HONESTY, LOVE, JOY, HOPE, and COMPASSION. He promoted Spirit to be in constant craving for Divine Wisdom, Divine Intelligence which equals the opportunity for Divine Awareness. The Image of Fullness.

Recognize the image in all of those, including yourself, even if such an image is not obviously present because somewhere in their lonesomeness and confusion, there resides their LOVE and TRUTH. Encourage the goodness to come forth.

Water your Spirit with LOVE. Take on the challenge to live the Call within yourself. That CALL to Love, to nourish, to refresh, to renew.

"Believe in new life within yourself, no matter what has gone before." -- The Reverend Battle Beasley http://www.stmarksantioch.org/

Stay blessed, sweet people... Be gentle and kind to yourself. Hold tight to the beauty within through the art and act of gratitude to the Creator. All things are possible in Christ. Surrender to LOVE and WALK FREE.

Go Do Be

Our home recording studio is so slammin now that we converted to all MAC and had our friend from Guitar Center, Nashville completely tweak it. I can't believe this blessing. To be able to record studio worthy material sitting in my underwear, rolling out of bed in the middle of the night to give life to a melody by recording it in my OWN home studio.

You just have to be resourceful. Not wait around for anyone. I encourage any musician out there to take that extra day or night job you hate, and turn around to be positive. Earn money to get a Protools rig or Logic. That is the ticket, to improve your home studio environment. Be your own music developer. Record. Don't wait.

Big budget recording doesn't exist anymore. There is absolutely no reason to have to wait to rely on anyone. Teach yourself anything you want to know. God thank you for this era where we can easily access videos, books, and vast information on the internet. A global resource. Be a research junkie. Keep on developing your craft. There is no such thing as major label development.

That goes for the book writer out there. Create it, produce it, get it out to the world for a modest fee. Marketing is so much easier with the internet. Join all the groups, forums and blogs you can that have to do with your subject of interest. Ask questions, make friends, create art. There's a vast community out there that will support what you do and encourage you in ways that were not available only a few short years ago.

Creativity is like air. It's there. It's available. Ask God for the tools you need to accomplish something. You'll be amazed what happens. It comes to you.

Last night I stayed up til the late hours mixing and editing my song Gotta Roarrr. It had been a demo for effin ever! I always wanted to re-do that song. No problem. Standing in my pajamas, revved up to sing with my kitty kat by my side and Mr. Patrick operating the rig, there I bellowed into Stella (my beloved microphone). And then could craft as I wish. Nah, let's redo that line I want to try this...that. Then Mr. Patrick had to leave for a short tour with Tracy Lawrence, so I took over the controls and went to work, Dunkin Donuts coffee in one hand. Kitty kats purring near by.

BLISS. I worked, prayed, pined for this moment. I love it. My beautiful readers, friends, family....I encourage you to take action. Wait not a moment longer to live your dream. Every action is a dream in forward motion. Go, do, be.

Love to you and Happy Passion Day,
Sasha

TBEAR Needs U!

TBEAR needs lovin' hugs.

The legendary TBEAR, journalist extraordinare and beloved character in the motorcycle culture, has experienced an unusual slip on the ice which has severly damaged the muscles in BOTH of his legs. He is in leg braces from his cha-chas to his ankles and is in a rehabilitation facility for longterm and would love to hear from you. He doesn’t get much computer time because he’s on slow computer that blocks out myspace and his connection to his creativity, but you can please reach out to him via e-mail which he has access to and give him kind, loving words of encouragement: tbear@mhcable.com

It’s very lonely to be in a small, rural rehabilitation center, especially for a vivacious character like him! Because of his accident, his two wheeler needs to be converted into a three-wheeler which is a great expense. Let's put our heads together to think about how this can be done for him as a gift to his incredible journalism and support of the lifestyle and motorcycle industry.

Dedicated 2 Daddy Poppi.

Dear Daddy Poppi:

I wish I could be with you right now. You're a precious and an amazing father. Know that I'm always thinking about you. I'll be there to see you soon.

Hey to all in the world. It's a big spiritual movement when your Daddy Poppi is terminally under-the-weather.

My earth father...is where most of my personality comes from. I'm so much like you, Poppi. I love being like you because you're unique. I'm having a really hard time accepting what's happening to you Daddy Poppi, no matter how deeply I study spiritual subjects. Love is soul. And for the time on earth, Love is very visual, too. I love to watch you, Daddy Poppi, because you are so sweet and a stunning artist. Not to mention, far intelligent than most folks I'll ever meet. In this department, well, I could use alot more doses of your genius.

I dedicate all my art works, all my journeys to you, Daddy Poppi. Gosh, dealing with these treatments is so tiring, I know. You've always been so full of life. It's tough to comprehend....well, accept is really the word I meant to say.

I'll bring all my art supplies and we can draw together. I want you to create my next tattoo, okay?

I have to post to the world because to keep all this to myself makes me feel I could burst with sorrow. When I share, I feel bursts of love from all over the world who share this portion of the journey of life, and the love of a parent. We are all one and in this oneness, encouragement and love is essential to peace.

Thank you for my life, Poppi. Thank you, my star Daddy Poppi. Glowing healing divine light beams from the universe to you. Peace and love. God bless you and treasure you.

Love your wild child in the wind.

Harley-Davidson's EPIC Women's Day Parade.

HARLEY-DAVIDSON'S WOMEN'S RIDE 2008 WAS AWESOME!

Presented by Sasha http://www.bikerlady.com/:

Yeah, the skies were pregnant with a little rain all day. But I'll tell you what didn't wait to drop, TEARS of JOY. Oh, the 400+ women riding in the parade felt the tears take a cheekward stroll as we participated in a history-making event. Harley-Davidson's first ever women's parade. Apparently it was 500 strong. All I could gather was several lines of Harleys and Buells stacked up ready to ride -- I had no idea what the final count was.

From Music City USA, I rode the southbound twists and wide open highway enroute to my destination: the curvaceous celebration of Harley and Buell chicks riding together in the first ever Parade of its kind. Oh the power of our HOURglass - it is ALL in the CURVES as folks hailed the femme force of riders roarrring down International Speedway and onto A1A! Led by Karen Davidson of the Harley-Davidson empire and a group of six selected females who wrote compelling essays about their riding experience and mentors, including the female executives of Harley-Davidson's women's outreach program, we waved and revved blazing a new Parade trail.

The Parade was also a fundraiser for MDA.

The energy was full throttle excitement. Let the pictures tell the story.

HURRAY FOR THE NAYSAYERS!

Among the people she thanked were naysayers: “The ones that said I was talentless, that I was chubby, that I couldn’t sing, that I was a one-hit wonder,” she said. “They pushed me to be better, and I am grateful for their resistance.”

This is an excerpt from Madonna's acceptance speech at The Rock N Roll Hall of Fame reception at the Waldorf Astoria. It struck a chord in me, a Bsus chord, one of those sparking chords, and B for B yourself. Suspended as in (hang freely or to hang so as to allow free movement).

Welcome the naysayers in their ignorance of an individual's talent. They can't possibly know the depths of anyone's desires or talents if their hearts are not even open to their own! The naysayers do not let talent hang freely to allow free movement. They think of suspend as to halt something, and even then, those talented ones with the passion in their hearts will love the suspense, and pursue their passionwork with even more dedication than ever before.

Because they OWN it. They own their talent. They enjoy the unfathomable depths of their creativity because it is directly from the source of the ONE great creator. And the only way to experience the ONE great Creator is in the moment of truth. The present second in which we live. The feeding tube of talent is an open heart. When the heart is open full bloom, no matter what the circumstances, no matter what the naysayers spat, the heart is fully open to the solar energy of the Creator. In my situation, the divine Miracle Grow for my bloom is of the Creator -- Mother/Father and my brother Jesus and sister Mary. My HOLY family who I treasure and adore. I flourish in that Garden.

Naysayers will always be in our lives because they are all around us. They visit our enthusiasm like scary monsters in a pretty dream. But let us be valiant and stand up to them with our slingshot of sparkling talent. Be our selves. Bsus chord. Play the B chord and then play a Bsus chord it is lovely, it is a step further. Take the lovely step further.

Here's another thought:

The forces of mediocrity, by Seth Godin http://sethgodin.typepad.com/
Maybe it should be, "the forces for mediocrity"... There's a myth that all you need to do is outline your vision and prove it's right—then, quite suddenly, people will line up and support you.

In fact, the opposite is true. Remarkable visions and genuine insight are always met with resistance. And when you start to make progress, your efforts are met with even more resistance. Products, services, career paths... whatever it is, the forces for mediocrity will align to stop you, forgiving no errors and never backing down until it's over. If it were any other way, it would be easy. And if it were any other way, everyone would do it and your work would ultimately be devalued. The yin and yang are clear: without people pushing against your quest to do something worth talking about, it's unlikely it would be worth the journey. Persist.

Finalist Round 2 Miss Sturgis Contest!

My dear friends and family and those new folks who I haven't yet met who supported the Miss Sturgis contest:

Thank you so very much for your love and support. I have made first place in the second round of the Miss Sturgis contest. There are two more rounds to go and then Miss Sturgis will be selected. Since I am now a finalist, one of 12 final girls from which Miss Sturgis is chosen, I am no longer in the voting catagory.

The Sturgis Bike Week committee will select the Miss Sturgis winner after the fourth round of voting and all 12 finalists are selected. With that, I encourage comments to be placed on my Miss Sturgis contestant page so that the committee understands why you voted for me, and how much you love Sturgis, and all about YOUR passion for riding. http://www.misssturgis.com/girls/?p=5 and place your comment.
I am truly honored by your support. The comments on my contestant page are breathtaking, I feel ya'lls beautiful glowing light in your hearts.
God bless you, treasured people in my life. I'm so happy about being a finalist and deeply grateful to the people who have supported this contest and voted for me. The passion that folks share for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally certainly shines; it's evident that the legacy of riders and racers over the 68 years is something to uphold and cherish.
To think it all started with Pearl and J.C. "Pappy" Hoel, an incredibly enthusiastic and generous couple who loved to share their passion for motorcycles with a family at large. Who knew this rally would evolve to be so big as to attract riders around the globe. The residents of South Dakota are warm and loving, and it's always a pleasure to receive their kind embrace during rally season.
To me, the Miss Sturgis title is to celebrate all that goodness and to recognize the female motorcycle enthusiast who journeys to the beautiful Black Hills on her own ride. I'd like to take this title to new heights, encourage people to follow their dreams, and to share the title to promote great causes.
Peace and love, Sasha
